How it works

From songs to Sunday, in a few simple steps.

Each step builds on the last, so what starts as a list of songs ends as a session your team can run.

01

Build your library

Add your songs and upload your multitracks. Your music is organized and ready whenever you need it.

02

Plan your set

Choose your songs, create arrangements, and build the flow of your service.

03

Create your Ableton session

Plan Your Set automatically builds your songs into a ready-to-run Ableton Live set based on your plan.

04

Make it your own

Open your session in Ableton and shape the details — from transitions and dynamics to the moments that make the set uniquely yours.

Your songs→A set you can run
When plans change

Change the plan. Not your whole afternoon.

Move a song. Change an arrangement. Try a different key. Make adjustments as the week unfolds, then generate an updated Ableton set without rebuilding everything by hand.

Plan Your Set — Sunday Morning Planned
Sunday Morning.als Session up to date

Sunday is planned, and the Ableton session is built.

What it handles

The setup is handled. The creativity is yours.

Plan Your Set handles the repeatable parts of building your Ableton session so you can start with a strong foundation instead of an empty template.

Song and stem organization

Every song and its stems live in one library, uploaded once and ready the moment you start building your next set — no folder hunting, no drive shuffling.

Arrangements

Play the version you actually want. Cut a verse, repeat a chorus, add a tag — then save that arrangement and reach for it again any week you need it.

Track setup

Your session opens with tracks named, grouped and laid out the way a working set should be — and the tracks you're not using this week come through already muted.

Transposition

Sing it in the key that fits your team. Choose the key and the stems arrive transposed, so nobody is working around a song that sits in the wrong place.

Drones and loops

Optional pads in the right key hold the room between songs, and loops give you space to stay somewhere longer. For songs you don't have multitracks for, a click loop with a drone pad still gives your band something solid to play to.

Practice mixes

Send your band a link to the exact arrangement you're playing, so everyone arrives on Sunday already knowing the set instead of learning it at soundcheck.

Ableton session creation

Your plan becomes a ready-to-run Live set — songs in order, clips on the grid, tempo written into the tempo track — so you open Ableton already standing on a foundation that works.

Rebuilding when plans change

Sets move all week, and that's fine. Update the plan, generate again, and your session comes back reflecting the change — so a late decision stays a small one.

FAQ

Asked & answered.

What's actually in the Ableton session it builds?+
A foundation you can run and keep building on. Your songs and stems laid out in set order, the arrangements you chose, the tracks you muted, any transposition you asked for, optional drone pads, loops, and click loops with drone pads for songs you don't have multitracks for. Tracks come grouped and organized using a structure refined over years of Sunday services, tempo is written into the tempo track, and practice mixes come from the same arrangement. Beyond the tempo track and the drone pad's MIDI clip, no MIDI automation is written — transitions, dynamics and the rest of the creative shaping are yours to do in Ableton.
What happens when the plan changes during the week?+
You change the plan and generate again. Move a song, choose a different arrangement, drop the key a step — then create the session again and it comes out reflecting the new plan. A Thursday change stays a Thursday change instead of turning into another evening of rebuilding.
Do I need to know Ableton to use this?+
No — you start from a session that's already laid out the way a working one should be. The structure comes from more than 15 years of building and running these sets for real services, so your first set arrives with the routing, grouping, pads and count-ins already in sensible places. If you'd like a hand, a personal one-on-one setup session is available: 45 minutes to get Ableton configured, your workflow understood, and your first set running. See what a setup session covers.
Can I edit the session after I create it?+
Yes — and that's the whole idea. It's an ordinary Live set: grouped tracks, returns and audio clips, no third-party plugins. Open it and shape transitions, dynamics, spontaneous moments and anything else that makes the set yours. If you'd rather start clean, generate it again.
Do I still need folders of stems on a drive?+
No. Multitracks are uploaded once and live in your song library. Every arrangement is a list of slices pointing back at that one copy rather than a fresh bounce, so a hundred different versions of a song cost you one upload — not a hundred folders and another drive.
What if the song's in a different key this week?+
Say so and move on. Set the key you're actually playing and the stems are transposed by the right number of semitones, with the pads and everything downstream agreeing with you. You don't touch a warp marker.
Do I need Ableton Live at all?+
Not for everything. Creating the session is the reason most people are here, but the library, arrangements, practice mixes, schedule and stage plot are all just the website. Bands who play fully live still get a set list, a tempo and a count-in per song.
Is there a limit on how many songs I can store?+
Not one you're likely to meet. The paid plan is built to hold your whole worship library — every song, with its stems and arrangements, for as long as you want to keep them. There is a fair-use line for genuinely extreme storage, set far above what a church accumulates over years of Sundays. If you ever got near it we would talk to you about it, not quietly switch something off.
Is the free plan actually free?+
Yes, and it doesn't expire. You get up to ten songs in your library and three of them with stems and full arrangements. That's enough to build a real set and see the whole workflow for yourself.
Can the whole team have logins?+
Yes. The price is per church, not per person, so bring whoever needs to see the set.
I'm not a church — can I still use it?+
Yes. It's built for churches and that's who most of it is used by, but nothing about it is locked to one. If you're building sets and you own multitracks, this does the same job — freelance worship leaders covering several churches, touring bands running the same show city to city, anyone who'd otherwise be rebuilding an Ableton session every week. You'll see the word "church" here and there in the app; read it as whatever you are.
Who's behind it?+
Eric Haley — a producer and worship leader who's been building Ableton sets for churches for 15+ years, and built this one for his own Sundays first. He still runs it every week. More at erichaleymusic.com.
